Moose Rubs

We get asked a lot how we get our moose antlers. The fun answer is that we lasso the moose and take his antlers. We will assure you that no moose are ever hurt in the harvesting of antlers. Actually the moose rub trees, fight with each other, and bang their antlers on ice to knock them off, every year. Moose prefer to rub fur trees and the trees are not that big. Sometimes we'll find giant, impressive rubs, and we can imagine goliath moose with gigantic antlers making the deep ruts in the tree. Attached is one of those impressive rubs.
